Event ATMs for fairs, festivals, and conventions in Virginia and the Carolinas
YourATM Services places temporary ATMs at fairs, festivals, and conventions in Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. We are a family-owned Independent ATM Deployer: we own the machines, load the cash, and staff them on site for your event dates. You provide the spot and power at each ATM, and we bring drop cords. You pay a flat fee per machine, quoted on the call. Call (704) 651-1279.

What does an event ATM from YourATM include?
We bring the ATM to your event, run it for your dates, and take it away when you're done.
-
The machine. We own it. You don't buy or service anything.
-
The cash. We supply and load the vault cash, the money inside the ATM that guests withdraw. It belongs to us, not to you or your vendors.
-
Processing. We cover processing, so you don't need a merchant account.
-
Staff on site. YourATM staff are on site during the event.
-
Signage. We supply ATM signage so guests can find the machine.
-
Drop cords. We bring drop cords to reach the power at each spot.
-
Setup and teardown. We set up for your event dates and remove everything after the event.
Which events do you put
ATMs in?
We place temporary ATMs at events of any size, anywhere in Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina:
-
Fairs. County fairs, agricultural fairs, and regional fairs.
-
Festivals. Music, food, barbecue, seafood, arts, heritage, and holiday festivals.
-
Conventions. Trade shows, expos, conferences, and hobby or card shows in convention centers and event halls.
There is no minimum event size. Small or large, you can request an event ATM. For large events, we can place more than one machine.
What do you need from the event organizer?
Not much. Before we book, we ask for:
-
A spot for each ATM. Somewhere flat and dry with a clear approach, close to where people spend money: vendor rows, food courts, bar areas, or the hall entrance. Never in an exit path.
-
Power at each spot. The event supplies power at each ATM spot. We bring drop cords to reach it.
-
An Ethernet connection for indoor venues, if possible. Convention centers and halls: a wired Ethernet drop at each spot is preferred. Outdoors, our ATMs run on cellular.
-
Lighting and access. A lit, visible spot that a wheelchair user can reach, with room for a short line.
-
Load access. A time and a route for us to load cash, with your security team in the loop.
-
A day-of contact. One person on site we can call.
-
Venue approval, if required. Some convention centers and fairgrounds need to approve outside vendors or already have an ATM contract. Tell us the venue and we'll work with its event-services team.
Need a certificate of insurance? Ask, and we'll send one.
How does setup, cash loading, and teardown work?
-
Call or request, at least 3 months ahead. Give us the event name, dates, city and state, venue, and expected attendance.
-
Walk the site. We walk the site with you before the event and agree on how many ATMs and where.
-
Confirm the details. We confirm dates, the per-machine fee, power, connection, load access, and any venue paperwork in writing.
-
Set up and load. We deliver the ATMs, run drop cords to your power, put up signage, and load cash before the event opens.
-
Run the event. YourATM staff stay on site during the event. If an ATM runs low, we reload it during the event, including at one-day events. We also monitor each machine remotely.
-
Tear down. After the event ends, we unload the cash and remove the machines, cords, and signage.
Lead time: book at least 3 months before your event.
Can you set up ATMs at outdoor fairgrounds and inside convention halls?
Yes. The setup differs.
Outdoor fairs and festivals. Our ATMs run on a cellular connection outdoors, so you don't need a phone line or Wi-Fi.
Convention centers and event halls. Indoors, we prefer a wired Ethernet connection at each ATM spot. Ask the venue for an Ethernet drop when you book the space. We place ATMs near registration, the show-floor entrance, or concessions, wherever the venue allows.
Multiple machines. Large fairs, festivals, and shows can have more than one ATM.
What does an event ATM cost the organizer?
An event ATM works like a rental: you pay a flat fee per machine. We quote it on the call after we learn your dates, location, and how many machines you need. The fee covers the machine, the cash, processing, signage, drop cords, on-site staff, setup, and teardown. You'll have the quote before you commit. Call (704) 651-1279.
Why put an ATM at a cash-heavy event?
Many food trucks, craft vendors, and pop-up booths take cash only, or prefer it to avoid card fees. When guests run out of cash, some leave the grounds to find an ATM and don't come back, and others skip the purchase. An ATM inside the event keeps that cash where your vendors are. Results depend on the event, the crowd, and the placement. We don't promise a number.

Questions organizers ask about event ATMs
How much does it cost to put an ATM at our festival or fair?
You pay a flat fee per machine, and we quote it on the call. The quote depends on your event dates, location in Virginia, North Carolina, or South Carolina, and how many machines you need. The fee covers the machine, the cash, processing, signage, drop cords, on-site staff, setup, and teardown. You'll have the quote before you commit. Call (704) 651-1279.
Do event ATMs need a phone line or Wi-Fi?
No. Outdoors, our event ATMs run on a cellular connection, so they work on open fairgrounds and festival sites without a phone line or Wi-Fi. Indoors, at convention centers and event halls, we prefer a wired Ethernet connection at each ATM spot. Ask the venue for an Ethernet drop when you book your space, and tell us where it will be when we walk the site.
What power does an event ATM need?
The event supplies power at each ATM spot. Tell us where your power is when we walk the site, and we'll place machines where power and foot traffic meet. We bring drop cords to reach the outlet, so you only need power available near each spot we agree on.
Who loads the cash, and what if the ATM runs low?
We do. YourATM supplies and loads the vault cash, the money inside the machine, before the event opens. YourATM staff stay on site for the event, and we monitor each machine remotely. If an ATM runs low, we reload it during the event, including at one-day events. Our team handles the ATM's cash, so your staff and vendors don't have to. The machine is our responsibility from setup to teardown.
How far ahead should we book an event ATM?
Book at least 3 months before your event. That gives us time to walk the site with you, plan how many machines you need and where, confirm power and connection at each spot, and finish any venue paperwork, such as a certificate of insurance. Call (704) 651-1279 or send the request form with your dates and expected attendance.
Can you put an ATM inside a convention center?
Yes, where the venue allows it. Many convention centers and event halls approve outside vendors first, and some already have an ATM provider under contract. Tell us the venue and show dates, and we'll work with its event-services team on approval, placement, power, and an Ethernet connection. We can send a certificate of insurance on request.
Is an event ATM the same as free ATM placement?
No. Free ATM placement is a permanent machine at a business, such as a convenience store, bar, smoke shop, trading card shop, or manufacturing plant. Event ATMs are temporary machines set up for specific dates and then removed, and the organizer pays a flat fee per machine. For a permanent location, see our free ATM placement page.
Do you serve events outside Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina?
No. YourATM Services places event ATMs anywhere in Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina, and only in those three states. We're a family-owned Independent ATM Deployer based in Indian Trail, North Carolina. Events of any size in those three states can request an ATM. Call (704) 651-1279 or send the request form with your dates and expected attendance.
